Drop/Add Courses

To Drop and/or Add

You may drop/add courses during the late registration and course changes period using ‘Web for Students” which is available from 7:00am until 11:00pm during the following period:  August 29 to September 11, 2007

1. “Drop/Add” form is available on the Registrar’s Web page. Click on “Forms”, select “Drop/Add” form and print it. Year abroad/non-degree students may obtain the form from the “International Student Services Office”, students with undeclared major may obtain the form from “Freshman Advising Office”.

2. Complete the form and secure approvals from your advisor.

3. For any hard core course except for RHET &/or ARBS courses, obtain the approval of the Core Curriculum Advisor.  Such approval is not needed if you are changing a section of the same course.

4. All students, excluding non-degree/year abroad students, can access ‘Web for Students” to drop and/or add courses.

5. The International Student Services Office is responsible to process drop/add courses for year abroad/ non-degree students on line.

Note: You may only print the “Drop/Add” form and use it during the permissible period for drop/add.

Important Notes

If you are registered for a course with a prerequisite that you were taking in the previous semester but later failed, it is your responsibility to drop the course, since you now lack the prerequisite needed.

The deadline for adding courses for Undergraduate students :  September 11, 2007

Extra week for Graduate students to submit Drop/Add forms to the Office of the University Registrar (Web registration will not be available) : September 12  - 18  , 2007.

You may not add courses after the first week of classes.
