Drop/Add Courses

TO DROP AND/OR ADD:    Undergraduate and Non-Degree students may drop/add courses during the first two days of classes using ‘Web for Students” which is available from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. during the following period: 9 - 10 June 2008 Graduate students have an extra three days from 11 - 15 June to Drop/Add through office of the University Registrar (web will not be available) 1. “Drop/Add” forms are available on the Registrar’s Web page. Click on “Forms”, select “Drop/Add” form and print it. Year abroad/non-degree students may obtain the form from the “International Student Services Office”, students with undeclared major may obtain the form from “Freshman Advising Office”.      2. Complete the form and secure approvals from your advisor. 3. For any hard core course except for ECLT &/or ARIC courses, obtain the approval of the Core Curriculum Advisor.  Such approval is not needed if you are changing a section of the same course. 4. All students, excluding non-degree/year abroad students, can access ‘Web for Students” to drop and/or add courses.  Please follow instructions to drop/add using “Web for Students” Note: You may only print the “Drop/Add” form and use it during the permissible period for drop/add. IMPORTANT NOTES  If you are registered for a course with a prerequisite that you were taking in the previous semester but later failed, it is your responsibility to drop the course, since you now lack the prerequisite needed. The deadline for adding courses for Undergraduate and Non-Degree students is: 10 June 2008 and 15 June for Graduate students. Starting the third day of classes Undergraduate and Non-Degree Students will not be allowed to add courses. Starting the second week of classes Graduate students will not be allowed to add courses.
