All Students in Computer Science Major or are willing to take Computer Science Courses

  1. To all Computer Science Undergraduate Students

The following courses must be taken concurrently with the lab


     CSCI 230 with lab 239
     CSCI 330 with lab 339

 

CSCI 345 is a prerequisite for CSCI 485 (Selected Topics in Computer Science – Introduction to Intrusion Detection, Analysis & Response).

  1. To All Computer Science Graduate Students

If you are intending to register in Thesis, you should fill Thesis Forms*  with your advisor during the advising period to be able to release the hold and to register through the web.

Thesis I (3 cr) should be registered twice.  In case your thesis work needs more time, you can register in Thesis II (1 cr) as many times to finish your thesis.

 

*Thesis forms are available at the Computer Science Department:

  • G2 form: for the students who are going to register thesis for the first time

  • G4 form: for the students who are going to do their proposal (it should be signed from the committee after the proposal).

  • G6 form: for the students who are going to do their defense.

  1. Individual Studies (CSCI 495) Guidelines

Regulations of Individual Studies in Computer Science:

  • CS student is allowed to take maximum 4 credits under CSCI 495 towards his/her major as CSCI electives. 

  • CSCI 495 is allowed only for 1 or 2 credits. CSCI 495 with 3 credits is granted in very limited cases.

  • The maximum number of students taking CSCI 495 the same section with the same instructor is 3 students.

Fill and submit Application for Individual Study Course to the department after the instructor's signature.

Deadline for submitting the individual study form for Summer and Fall 2005 is April 11th – 20th, 2005

  1. To all Students

Students requesting registration in Computer Science courses will only be allowed if they are to fulfil a major, minor or collateral requirement.
