Dropping From Courses

Dropping Courses with the Grade of ‘W’: Third day to fourth week of classes: 12 June - 5 July 2007 (Undergraduates) Second week to fourth week of classes: 17 June - 5 July 2007 (Graduates) Procedure for Withdrawal: 1.   “Drop/Add” forms are available on the Registrar’s Web page. Click on “Forms”, select “Drop/Add” form and print it. Year abroad/non-degree students may obtain the form from the “International Student Services Office”, students with undeclared major may obtain the form from “Freshman Advising Office”.      2.   Complete the form and secure approvals from your advisor and the chair of your department of major, the Director of International Student Services (if you are a year abroad/non-degree student), or the Freshmen Advisor (if you are an undeclared student).  3.   For any Hard Core course, except ECLT or ARBS courses, obtain the approval of the Core Curriculum Advisor. 4.   Submit the drop form to the Office of the University Registrar in person. A grade of “W” signifying “withdrawn” will be posted to your transcript for courses dropped during this period. IMPORTANT NOTE  Undergraduate students dropping courses after 11 June 2007 are not entitled to any refund. Graduate students dropping courses after 14 June 2007 are not entitled to any refund. Deadline for dropping for all students is 5 July 2007.
